Skout Solutions are helping Ventia look for a handyman to join their Facilities Maintanence team at the Whanganui hospital ideally by 17/12.
This is a physical role that requires you to be on your feet and on-the-go, helping different trades Monday to Friday across 3 months with the opportunity to be extended from there.
Tasks of the role include, but not limited to supporting Plumbers and Electricians with various maintenance and miscellaneous handyman jobs around the hospital.
Successful applicants will have-
- A mechanical aptitude
- Atleast 5 years experience in a trades assistant/Handyman position.
- Knowledge/experience in carpentary or cabinet making.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards safety.
- Valid drivers license to drive to cover handyman jobs in Marton/Palmy/Taihape/Raetihi.
