The company.

Skout Solutions operate as Ventia's internal recruitment function for permanent hires and also supply them with temporary labour and office workers. We are half owned by Ventia and half owned by Randstad. We share offices with our client and work closely with hiring managers as colleagues on a day-to-day basis - but we also have the tools and capability of a large global recruitment company at our disposal. You will certainly benefit from this situation - essentially you have a very hot desk with a group of customers who eager for you to provide them with a quality temp recruitment service.

The People:

You will be joining a small, high performing local NZ team who recruit around 500 people every year Perm and temp combined). We have built in-depth knowledge of Ventia's business and have developed strong relationships with our hiring managers through hard work, openness and regular communication. You will also have the support of the greater ANZ Skout Solutions team and the Ventia NZ HR team, both of which are full of supportive, approachable people who will help you to achieve success in your role.

The Job:

We recruit a wide variety of office and site-based skillsets across Facilities Management, Power, Telecommunications, Construction, and Infrastructure maintenance from entry level cleaning roles to technical trades and operations roles. You will never be bored.

  • Substantial temp or contract recruitment experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • A strong customer service approach to recruitment
  • The ability to influence, sell and promote
  • A strong understanding of candidate attraction platforms including Job boards and social media.
  • Excellent search and attraction capabilities
  • Experience in the use of a recruitment management system
