The company.

Skout Solutions operate as Ventia's internal recruitment function. We are half owned by Ventia and half owned by Randstad. So, we are in a unique position - an internal function who are very much part of the Ventia team and work alongside our hiring managers on a day-to-day basis, but who also have the tools and capability of a large global recruitment company at our disposal, and our own distictive culture and team dynamic.

The People:

You will be joining a small, high performing local NZ team who recruit around 500 people every year. We have built in-depth knowledge of Ventia's business and have developed strong relationships with our hiring managers through hard work, openness and regular communication. You will also be part of a greater ANZ Skout Solutions team and the NZ HR team, both of which are full of experienced, decent, supportive people who will be more than willing to help you become successful in your role.

The Job:

We recruit a wide variety of office and site-based skillsets across Power, Telecommunications, Construction, Infrastructure maintenance and Facilities Management from entry level roles to Senior Leadership roles. You will never be bored.


You may be a high performing agency recruiter whose motivation has dropped due to repetitiveness, lack of variety or sales culture - maybe you want to apply your skills in a different environment, and feel part of something bigger?   • Substantial recruitment experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • A strong customer service approach to recruitment
  • The ability to influence, sell and promote
  • A strong understanding of candidate attraction platforms including Job boards and social media.
  • Excellent search and attraction capabilities
  • Experience in the use of a recruitment management system
