The Role
Skout Solutions, on behalf of Ventia, are currently looking for an experienced Storeperson to join their Defence team. The Store person role is responsible for the delivery of a proactive, safe, and efficient stores enabling the operational team to focus on delivery activities. The 6-week term will include assisting with all warehousing duties. 8am - 4pm Mon to Fri.
Requirements
- Experience in stores/warehouse work preferably in the drilling or mining industry
- Valid Driver's licence
- Forklift Licence
- Ability to pass Medical (including drug and alcohol screen)

Responsibilities
- Assist in the effective running, streamlining and safeguarding of all operations of the warehouse/store
- Load and unload all incoming and outgoing freight with forklift incoming equipment and validate against receipt note/invoice
- Clearly label the reference purchase order number on all sorted stock on shelving
- Ensure all fully receipted and labelled goods are located in the Warehouse
- Dispatch works which includes collecting of daily picking list
- Identify and label dangerous goods
- Ensure freight delivery bins are packed appropriately for transport
- Enclose all associated dispatch paperwork in freight bins with goods prior to sealing
