This is a diverse and growing business offering the training, opportunities and support you need to begin and build a successful career. we are seeking a HVAC technician with 3 years' experience in Fire Safety Inspections on a wide range of facilities.


ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be part of a large team responsible for the maintenance of buildings and assets located in the Greater Sydney region. The workload will be interesting and varied with exposure to different sites and facilities performing full function fire tests, routine maintenance checks, emergency repairs and upgrades.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full function fire testing of mechanical components of fire systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance and testing
  • Carry out repairs as directed by Supervisors
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and/or inspections carried out
  • Repair, refurbish or replace defective equipment
  • Maintenance of spare parts and equipment needed
  • Ensure all safety and quality documentation are completed as required
  • Previous chiller experience would be highly regarded

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant trade experience
  • Trade Qualification and Current Trade Licences
  • 3 years' experience conducting fire tests on a varied range of facilities
  • Competent Fire Safety Practitioner(CFSP) or Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) accreditation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using smartphone devices and programs
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Valid driver's licence for the state in which the position is based
