Ventia Critical Infrastructure, a division of Ventia specialises in design, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of turnkey critical infrastructure solution.

The Role

Skout Solutions, on behalf of Ventia are currently seeking applications from experienced & qualified Crane Operators. You will primarily be working on several shutdowns and sustaining capital works projects throughout the Pilbara. These ongoing positions offer you consistent work on a casual basis, with the possibility of moving to a 2/1 roster, however the shifts on offer will be subject to client's needs.

Hourly Rate - $47.90 + Super + Penalties

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's license
  • BHP Validation of Competency (VOC) for a Franna Crane
  • High Risk Work License - Must show CO or CN
  • Fire Extinguisher Training (One of the following competencies - MSMWHS212 / PUAWER008B / CPPFES2005A)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical D&A

Desirable

  • Experience working for BHP, Rio Tinto or similar
  • BHP Inductions completed - Highly desirable
  • Open or C6 Crane License - Not essential but highly regarded
  • High Risk EWP, DG & LF - Not essential but highly regarded
  • MSIC - Not essential but highly regarded

Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in similar roles and projects
  • Experience with Various Cranes & Lifting equipment
  • Competent developing, implementing and following risk assessments. Understand and adhere to JHA's before commencing work
  • Experience working under Permit to Work systems and adhering to Permit to Work conditions
  • Ability to use tools and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Demonstrate ability to conduct work safely at heights
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels
