Job description

About the role

Ventia are looking for Commercial/Industrial Electricians and Electrical Trades Assistants to assist in a substation construction job, performing Electrical works across to testing and livening. The first build will be Pound Road surrounding the airport and then in Grays Road. Reporting into Ventia Construction Supervisors this construction work is expected to go from 15/12 until 2026.

What's on offer

  • Plenty of hours of work and OT on 10 hour days across a 12 day on, 2 off roster (off every second weekend).
  • Pay rate of $36-$39+OT depending on experience.
  • Pay rate of $29+OT for skilled Electrical Trades assistants.
  • Be part of a supportive team in an exciting construction job with possibility for further work in future.

About you

  • Proven experience in NZ as a qualified HV Electrician in industrial or commercial.
  • Or experience as a Skilled electrical trades assistant in industrial or commercial.
  • Good communication, a team worker and a positive attitude towards safety.
