The Role

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified Dual Trade Electricians with offshore, Brownfields exposure, for a shutdown, commencing in May, 2021. This will be for a duration of approximately 5-8 weeks.

You will utilise your previous experience in shutdown style works to perform Pre, Run in, Execution and Run out works associated with the shutdown.

You must have experience in disconnecting apparatus, overhauling process equipment or electrical equipment, be able to read schematics, loop drawings and process drawings.

To be eligible for this role, you must reside in Western Australia and have a minimum of 5 years' experience on brownfields projects as well as all the requirements listed below.

Requirements

  • HV Switching
  • MSIC
  • TBOSIET
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Electrical Trade Certificate ("A" Grade Electrical Worker Licence, WA)
  • Tubing and Fitting Installation and Inspection - Prochem course
  • Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
  • Low Voltage Rescue (includes CPR)
  • Work Safely at Heights
  • Enter Confined Space
  • Current First Aid certificate & CPR
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including D&A
  • High Risk Licenses highly regarded

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in maintenance & fault finding activities
  • Prior experience on brownfields projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Gas compression & power generation systems
  • Ability to follow process & procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
