The Ventia team at our Defence Base Services Site, Anglesea Barracks - Hobart, require an experienced and reliable Chef to join our team. This is a casual role with varied split shifts across weekdays and weekends, preparing meals for regular service and functions. For the right person, this is also a great opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
About the Role
Casual hours, varying week to week
Split shifts common (e.g. 06:30-08:00, 09:00-14:00, 14:30-19:00)
Start/finish times may flex 30-60 mins depending on requirements
Weekdays: mix of breakfast, lunch and dinner services
Weekends: generally quieter, with shorter prep and more à la carte
More hours available during busy periods, group bookings and functions

What We're Looking For
Qualified Chef with proven kitchen experience
Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements
Strong time management to deliver meals within set service times
