Ventia is seeking to engage an experienced and qualified Chef to join the team. This is a casual role based at the RAAF Base, East Sale.
You'll be working Monday to Friday, but shifts may vary depending on site requirements. The role is offering $38.35 per hour + Penalties + Allowances + Super. It's an immediate start and a chance to showcase your skills for potential long-term opportunities.

Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory for Defence sites)
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, with proven kitchen experience
- Strong time management and ability to deliver within set service times
- A collaborative, professional approach
- Understanding of special dietary requirements
- Great attitude
Chef duties may include:
- Supporting the Head Chef with daily Mess operations and food service
- Meal and food preparation
- Operating large-volume cooking equipment
- Experience in bulk catering is preferred but not mandatory
With the recruitment process, you will be asked to obtain an Australian Police check and Base Pass.
