Job description

This is a diverse and growing business offering the training, opportunities and support you need to begin and build a successful career on our contract with the prestigious University Of Sydney, we are seeking a Boiler Technician with three years relevant experience.


ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be part of a large team responsible for the maintenance of buildings and assets located in the Greater Sydney region. The workload will be interesting and varied with exposure to different sites and facilities performing preventative and reactive maintenance, emergency repairs and upgrades.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications related to electric and gas steam boilers.
  • Ability to learn and use proprietary software necessary to support the position
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (Manual)
  • Confined space entry
  • Working from Elevated Work Platforms
  • Developed fault diagnosis skills for integrated mechanical and Plumbing systems related to steam plant equipment
  • Basic control system and PLC knowledge
  • Basic understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management System

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Mechanical Fitting trade.
  • Previous experience in a boiler technician role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using smartphone devices and programs
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
