The Ventia team at our Defence Base Services site in Victoria Barracks Southbank, is in need of a reliable, upbeat and responsible Bartender to join the team. The Officers Mess prides itself on the quality of the beverages it serves and has a extensive wine cellar. You'll play an important role in creating a great experience for every guest.

This is a casual position offering a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Wednesday 3:30pm-7:30pm
- Friday 2:30pm-8:30pm

What we're looking for
- Great customer service skills
- Bartending experience
- Ability to operate POS system
- Experience making cocktails (advantageous)
- Interest in quality Australian wines, spirits and beers (desirable)
- Basic food preparation (cheese platters and heating snacks)
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Opening and closing the bar
- General cleaning
Mandatory requirements
- Australian Citizenship
- Current RSA Certificate
- Ability to complete an Australian Police Check and Pre-Employment Assessment as part of the on-boarding process
