The Ventia team at Defence Base Services Anglesea Barracks is looking for a reliable, upbeat and responsible person to help with food services and bartending. If you enjoy working in a busy environment, delivering great service, and being part of a team that thrives during busy nights and events, read on!

About the Role

  • Casual hours that vary week to week (approx. 15-20 hours per week)
  • $33.85 per hour + penalties + superannuation
  • A mix of shorter shifts (i.e. 3-5hrs each) and longer shifts (i.e. 6-9hrs each)
  • Peak periods (functions, lunches, evening shifts and events) - some busier weeks which means more hours available
  • Availability for weekend shifts

What We're Looking For

  • Bartending experience (essential)
  • Someone who knows their way around a kitchen including food preparation
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, with a proactive and professional approach
  • Previous front of house/hospitality experience
  • Flexible availability to suit a variety of shift times

Mandatory Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Police Check and pre employment assessment as part of on-boarding
  • Current RSA Certificate
  • Food Handlers Cert (preferable)
