The Ventia team at our Defence Base Services site, Anglesea Barracks - Hobart, is in need of reliable, upbeat and responsible people to join the Front of House cohort.

If you enjoy working in a busy environment, delivering great service, and being part of a team that thrives during busy nights and events, read on!

About the Role

  • Casual hours that vary week to week (approx. 15-20 hours per week)

  • $33.85 per hour + penalties
  • A mix of shorter shifts (i.e. 3-5hrs each) and longer shifts (i.e. 6-9hrs each)

  • Peak periods (functions, lunch and evening shifts, events, some weeks are busier) mean more hours available

  • Availability for weekend shifts


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a kitchen/hospitality background
  • Reliable, flexible and comfortable working in a busy and bustling environment

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Team-oriented, with a proactive and professional approach

  • Previous front of house/hospitality experience

  • Flexible availability to suit hospitality shifts
  • Assisting with Food preparation - salads, sandwiches, wraps

Mandatory Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship

  • Ability to complete an Australian Police Check and Pre-Employment Assessment as part of onboarding

  • Current RSA certificate
