Ventia is currently seeking an experienced and licensed Gantry Crane Operator to join the team at the Bluescope site in Port Kembla Wollongogng.
This is a chance to work on one of Australia's most iconic industrial sites with a collaborative team and strong site culture. In this role, you'll work in a safety-first environment, operating a gantry crane and performing rigging to move items of different sizes and shapes around the workshop.
What's on offer
- Ongoing temp role with the possibility of permanency for the right individual
- Rates: Starting rate at $43.21 + super + OT. Higher rates available for those with additional tickets
- Hours: 6.00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime when required
What you'll need
- Current CB Crane Licence
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (not-negotiable)
- White Card
- Recent experience as a crane operator and rigger
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- HR/HC licence will be well regarded
