Ventia, one of the largest essential services providers in Australia and New Zealand, has an opportunity for a skilled electrician to join the maintenance team at Millmerran Power Station from 28-Nov for 6 weeks. This work includes a weekly allowance of $91.50 and the possibility for further work from there.

As a maintenance electrician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the maximum availability and reliability of the Coal and Ash Plant. You'll install, repair, maintain, test, modify, commission, and fault find machinery and equipment to your level of competency, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and protection of the major assets.

Key responsibilities include completing plant routine maintenance and testing, utilising a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), identifying and recommending improvements on maintenance or operations systems and processes, and preparing and participating in the preparation of risk assessments, work method statements and/or job safety analysis.

About you

To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 1 years' experience as a trade-qualified electrician.You should also have a sound knowledge of QA systems and procedures, and an understanding of the principle of preventative maintenance.
