The Role

Skout Solutions, on behalf of Ventia is seeking a Labourer/Groundsperson. This is a casual role is based at RAAF Base Curtin in Derby.

As part of the Grounds Management team you will undertake daily operational duties as prescribed by the Grounds Supervisor to deliver the safe, effective and efficient delivery of land and grounds maintenance. This includes the operation of mowers, tractors, small plant, machinery, powered and non-powered hand tools. Other tasks include general gardening and grounds keeping to ensure the gardens and lawns are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements

  • You'll need to be an Australian Citizen
  • You'll need a current driver licence
  • Experience in parks and garden maintenance, including relevant plant and tool operation (highly regarded)
  • Sound understanding of grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, mulching and fertilising
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Defence security pass
  • Police check
