The Role:

Skout Solutions are seeking a Machine Operator to work on one of our Telstra Projects.

The site locations will continue to change in line with the projects demands however our office is based in Wetherill Park, NSW. You will have the opportunity to work 12 hour days, 21 days on and 7 days off with rural/remote travel included.

We can provide accommodation and the allowance will be $120/day or you can organise your own accommodation and you will get $276/day as an allowance this will also cover meal allowance.

The role is starting with a 3 month casual contract with the opportunity to be extended or go permanent for the right candidate.

Tasks and duties may include:

  • Multi-Combination driving for the MC Driver position.
  • Rod, Rope & Hauling - hauling multiple cables by hand & machinery, quality checks
  • Civil activities - repair blockages, operate plant and equipment such as dozer, excavator, vacuum trucks, winches, mobile cranes and HR trucks.
  • Labouring duties - cut and repair fences, undertake excavation using hand and mechanical methods

Skills and Experience:

  • MUST HAVE MC Licence
  • Previous driving experience
  • Experience operating big machinery, excavator or dozer tickets are desirable
  • Able to work remotely within a team and by themselves
  • Current Construction White card
