The Ventia team at our Defence Base Services site, Anglesea Barracks - Hobart, are in need of reliable, upbeat and responsible people to join the Front of House cohort.

About the Role

  • Casual hours that vary week to week (approx. 7-21 hours per week)

  • $31.32 per hour + penalties
  • Majority of shifts are evenings, Tuesday-Saturday

  • Some additional weekend and weekday shifts pending demand

  • Shifts range from shorter 2-4 hours to longer 6-7 hour shifts

  • Peak periods (functions, end-of-year events, busier weeks) mean more hours available

  • Must be consistently available Friday and Saturday nights - our busiest shifts


What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, flexible and comfortable working in a busy and bustling environment

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Team-oriented, with a proactive and professional approach

  • Previous front of house/hospitality experience

  • Flexible availability to suit hospitality shifts

Mandatory Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship

  • Ability to complete an Australian Police Check and Pre-Employment Assessment as part of onboarding

  • Current RSA certificate
