Be part of a once-in-a-generation build in remote WA
A qualified and experienced Carpenter is required for the SKA-Low Project - part of the Square Kilometre Array, an internationally significant initiative to build the world's largest radio telescope in Western Australia.
This role is based at the Central Processing Facility (CPF), where work involves building and finishing key site infrastructure that will support data processing and operational systems for over 130,000 antennas.
The Role
Start Date: ASAP - 9th October 2025 (potential for additional swings)
Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
Hours: 12-hour days (6am - 6pm), every day during swing
Location: CPF site, approx. 400km from Geraldton, WA
Camp-based role: Live-in camp operating 24/7

Requirements
Mandatory:
White Card
Forklift Licence
Basic carpentry and construction skills
Fit and able to work 12-hour shifts in remote conditions
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Medical + drug & alcohol screen (arranged and paid for)

Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable in remote site environments. A strong team player with attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
