Are you looking to join a small team in a key warehousing role? Skout Solutions are seeking to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator who will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and excellent order desk administration for their client.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
- Supervise the Vintage Contract Warehouse Assistant alongside the Operations Manager to oversee daily operations.
- Accurately pick orders using a handheld barcode scanner, ensuring correct stock unit counts.
- Securely pack orders of various sizes (from units to pallets) and prepare for dispatch, ensuring all products on the Packing Slip have corresponding Certificates of Conformance.
- Coordinate with couriers for order dispatch, ensuring timely collection and accurate order delivery.
- Process international customer orders, validating paperwork against customs requirements for each specific country.
Stock Management:
- Maintain stock rotation for Animal Nutrition goods stored in Adelaide and report new stock reception to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Conduct monthly stocktakes of Animal Nutrition products and provide detailed reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Pick and dispatch Animal Nutrition orders as directed by the QLD order desk and ensure Lion Nathan orders are managed efficiently via the Lion online Ariba system.
- Conduct stock control and spot checks to reconcile system quantities with physical stock.
Support and Administration:
- Assist with unloading containers, checking off stock, and dispatching samples as requested, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings during Vintage to contribute to warehouse operations and Work Health Safety practices.
- Comply with all Work Health Safety regulations and manual handling procedures.
Order Desk & Customer Service:
- Receive and verify domestic customer orders via email and fax.
- Enter purchase orders into the database and send order confirmation to customers.
- Handle over-the-counter cash sales, processing payments and sales in the database.
- Maintain the Certificate of Analysis folder and assist with invoicing sales orders.
Other Duties:
- General warehouse maintenance, cleaning, and organizing.
- Monitor and order warehouse consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Contribute to the Food Safety Certification management and culture at the client company.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
Competencies Required:
- Current forklift and driver's license.
- Proficiency in computer skills and navigation of the database.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to warehouse procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
